Помогите перевести. Вроде фраза простая...но я сижу...туплю...
“That’s right. We’re going to be cooking up a storm around here today, so prepare to be stuffed like a turkey.”
I looked at Edward who was nodding in adamant agreement.
“You all won’t be happy till my insides explode, will you?” I looked around the room at everyone. “I really don’t want to go all eternity with erupted intestines.”
Emmett laughed loudly. “Ah, Bella. It really is good to have you back.”
И еще тоже одна фразень
“Oh get real, Bella. You can’t play the snow white virgin card anymore. You and Edward are positively swimming in each other’s scent. You’ve obviously been all over each other.”
Выделенная жирным фраза...это Элис в прямом смысле сказала?
И что значит словечко “Oh,” she said. “Gotcha.”
Контекст такой:
Edward sighed heavily, and I released him. “She’s almost ready. She needs to get dressed.”
“Uhm…pardon me?” she giggled.
“I took a shower, Alice!” I explained quickly.
“Oh,” she said. “Gotcha.”
I rolled my eyes and Edward left the bathroom, letting me get dressed. Before I could even make it half way across the bedroom Alice had me by the hand and was dragging me down the hallway toward what I assumed to be her room.
“Do not damage my wife,” Edward cautioned from our doorway.
“Don’t be insulting!” Alice shot back. “She’ll be fine.”
